Qutub Minar is one of the best places I visited in Delhi. The complex is not just about the minaret. The entire place has so much detail, beauty, and character. I really loved the Mughal architecture in variegated red sandstone; it made for some stunning pictures. There are many objects of archeological interest here, including the iron pillar and the tower itself. I could spend the entire day there. This UNESCO World Heritage site is a must see for anyone traveling to New Delhi. Started in the 12th century it has a 234 foot brick tower that is the tallest free standing brick structure in the world.
